As parents we have all been there... there is no vacation without the kids. Always a family vacation. As parents who are also adults, we need to tell ourselves it IS okay to vacay alone as a couple or with a couple of friends. We need that time to absorbe the world around us and view through our eyes. To see what beauty really looks like when the world around us is quiet and time stands still and no one is asking you for anything.
